research

Everything happens for a reason. Recently, I got a part time job working in downtown Saint Paul as a research assistant. Akin to the last position I held at WaMu, (senior business analyst) it consists of research, thinking outside the box, finding important industry info, double checking numbers, finding discrepancies, etc. Details, my true love.

In the past few weeks, I have been sending my prototype to former colleagues and friends for feedback. The response has been great and and what I have learned and continue to learn is the importance of research. The part time job is honing my skills and I am beginning to realize that a large part of this book (and most books) is coming down to investigating. The support and encouragement has been overwhelming, and the fact that no great work is done alone continues to prove itself each day. Peace.
